Polwarth, 23 Micron Hand Dyed Combed Wool Top, 4oz

Hand dyed polwarth, combed top. Approx. 4oz each.

This fiber is NOT super wash treated.  This fiber is suitable for spinning, felting etc. Care for the fiber/final yarn is hand wash only.

I dye all my fiber with professional quality acid dyes, and pre-wash fiber prior to sale to remove excess dyes. Bold or extremely dark colors (bright reds, deep black/blues) may still have slight bleeding. While spinning, it should be noted that certain colors may “crock” onto the skin, but this is not indicative of bleeding. This is the dye reacting to the oils/lotions on the skin, and should not affect the final spun product. I find this happens with teal or blue dyes on my own skin. 

I try to represent the colors as accurately as possible, but it should be noted that variations may happen between dye lots and from monitor to monitor. If you have questions for me before ordering, please feel free to send me a message.
